Samsung seems to be back to pricing its devices quite expensively compared to the competition. We had set an expected price point of KES. 16,500 for this device. However, it seems something else is happening behind the scenes making this device feel pretty expensive, and quite honestly not worth the money.
The original Galaxy A20 was a killer deal. It was about the same price we expected for this model. From the success of the 2019 A-series, I thought Samsung would learn and price their devices more fairly. But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Compare this device to the Redmi NOTE 9s, or to the Huawei Y8p and make up your mind on why you should pay KES. 22,300 for it. If you get the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model for about KES. 21,000 to KES. 22,000 that will be a fair deal. But as many sites are listing the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model for these prices, then it is not something I’d advise anyone to go with.
For the A21s you get a 6.5 inch display that’s not Full HD. You get Samsung’s Exynos processor, 5000mAh battery with Type-C and 15W fast charging. You also get 4 rear cameras with a main 48MP sensor.
